Malvern Federal Charitable Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Malvern Federal, awarded the Foundation for Learning in Tredyffrin/Easttown, FLITE, a $7,000 grant to fund academic programs that help T/E students achieve in the classroom. The funds will be used to provide educational programs and tools to local children who would not otherwise have access to them, including the Afterschool Homework Program, School Supplies and Preschool Tuition Assistance. CCRES, Inc. has awarded a $5,000 grant to FLITE to help fund the After School Homework Program, which helps elementary and middle-school students in the T/E School District develop their study skills and complete homework assignments in a supervised environment after school. Read full article
The Neighborhood League Shops Foundation has awarded $7,500 to FLITE to support the district’s After School Homework Program. The Neighborhood League Shops operates three consignment shops in Wayne, Pennsylvania to raise funds to donate to local nonprofit organizations to benefit those in need. Read full article

ESSA Bank recently joined with the local T/E community to generously donate $9,134.59 through their Foundation which was utilized for the replacement of antiquated computer equipment for FLITE’s After School and College Readiness programs.
The ESSA Bank & Trust Foundation, established in 2007, was formed to solidify the belief of its founders “in returning to the community a portion of the profits to improve the quality of life.” The Foundation supports 501(c)3 organizations in their branch areas and has awarded grants totaling more than $10MM to regional entities.
