On October 15th, C.A.S.E, the Conestoga Alumni Supporting Excellence organization, presented FLITE with a check for $3,000 at the FLITE Golf Outing held at St. Davids Golf Club. Over the past 10 years, C.A. S. E. has generously contributed $56,000 to FLITE to help fund academic support programs for the financially disadvantaged students of the T/E School District. TE Connectivity Donates to FLITE
TE Connectivity recently awarded a $13,100 grant to FLITE. The donation will be used to fund participation in summer STEM camps and graphing calculators for TESD middle and high school students who otherwise would not access to these important educational opportunities and technologies. The Saturday Club Donates $2,000 for FLITE’s After School Homework Program
The Saturday Club has generously provided a $2,000 grant to help FLITE support the After School Homework Program. Throughout its history to the present day, The Saturday Club has had a continuing impact in the community. T/E Chinese-American Parents Group Raises More Than $5,200 for FLITE
As part of Lunar New Year celebration, more than 110 families donated over $5,200 to FLITE, with another several hundred from company matches. It was a fundraising effort by the T/E Chinese-American Parents Group to mark the most important and festive of East Asian holidays, known for its family reunions, reconnecting with communities, and sharing joy and bounty. FLITE has received a generous donation of $2,500 from The Walmart Community Grants Team and Facility # 3475 to support FLITE’s After School Homework Program. This afternoon program, staffed by T/E teachers, instructional assistants and school counselors, helps elementary and middle-school students to develop good study skills and to complete homework assignments. Malvern Bank Awards $7,000 to Help Local Students
Malvern Federal Charitable Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Malvern Federal, awarded the Foundation for Learning in Tredyffrin/Easttown, FLITE, a $7,000 grant to fund academic programs that help T/E students achieve in the classroom. The funds will be used to provide educational programs and tools to local children who would not otherwise have access to them, including the Afterschool Homework Program, School Supplies and Preschool Tuition Assistance.
