FLITE is delighted to honor Jim Bruce at this year’s Golf and Pickleball Outing. Jim Bruce has dedicated his life to helping children achieve.
From his professional work with behavioral health care systems to his significant number of volunteer activities, Jim embodies FLITE’s mission – to make sure that all children have access to educational opportunities.
Jim served as Chester County Director of Human Services from 1986 to 2001 and ran his own company that matched families and the TE school district with behavioral health services. Jim served on the T/E School Board from 2002 to 2014 and was very active with the Intermediate Unit.
Jim founded the Tredyffrin Easttown Youth Soccer Association (TEYSA), a soccer program that is still thriving today. He has served on the board of the Upper Mainline YMCA and is currently serving on the board of CCRES.
Through his life, Jim has focused on giving children the resources they need to achieve.
