Program Participation Guidelines

FLITE raises money to fund programs designed to ensure that students in Tredyffrin/Easttown Schools, especially those who face barriers to their educational success have the opportunities, support and academic tools they need to succeed in school.

We believe in keeping the identities of the program participants confidential and thus, are not involved in determining participants. School guidance counselors and teachers work together to determine who should benefit from FLITE programs.

Ask a T/E School District guidance counselor about program participation and qualification criteria. More information about the Preschool Assistance Program can be found on this flyer.

If you are a teacher, we encourage you to make student referrals to guidance counselors. If you have an idea for a new program please review it with the principal and consider submitting it via our website

You may contact us with a inquiry via our Contact Us page.

Program Grant Application & Renewal

We believe that the best program ideas come from inside our schools: teachers, principals, guidance counselors, librarians.

Want to Make an Idea Come to Life? Apply for a Program Grant. If you have an idea for a program that might benefit children attending our T/E public schools, we’d love to hear from you. Complete our FLITE Grant Application Form to describe your program.

If you need assistance, simply contact us and our Grants Committee will be in touch and a member of our committee will assist you in completing and presenting your grant application.

The FLITE Programs Committee meets monthly to consider grant proposals. Your application will be judged on how well your program meets the FLITE mission of helping T/E public school students realize their full potential. We will consider how the program will be implemented, the program’s impact on the District and its students, how it can be evaluated in terms of its effectiveness, and whether your program budget can best be met by available FLITE funds.

Program Evaluation

Current programs are evaluated each year for their attainment of project goals and cost effectiveness. Each program must be renewed annually. Program submitters, please complete the Program Evaluation Form so that members of our team can review the completed evaluation.

Grant Payment Request Form

The Grant Payment Request Form is now available for download and electronic completion. Once complete, all payment requests should be sent directly to the Program Liaison.
