The TE Connectivity Foundation has donated $20,000 to FLITE with two generous $10,000 awards for the 2016-17 school year. The money will be used to fund participation in summer STEM camps, school supplies and home computers for children in TESD schools who may not otherwise have access to these important educational opportunities and technologies. This is the fifth year in a row that the Foundation has provided very generous donations to FLITE to support local education. The company also donated 25 backpacks filled with school supplies for local students in need.
The TE Foundation is a part of TE Connectivity Ltd., a global provider of connectivity and sensor technology solutions, with over 200 employees at its administrative headquarters in Berwyn, PA and 80,000 employees in 50 countries. The Foundation is pleased to provide the funds needed to provide summer science education and essential technologies for deserving students in the T/E School District.
