TD Bank recently joined with the local community to donate school supplies and funds to FLITE. From April 1 through April 7, members of the community donated school supplies and backpacks, and along with a separate grant from the TD Charitable Foundation, the charitable giving arm of TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank®, raised a total of $5,067 to help local kids in need reach their full potential.
TD Bank is one of the 10 largest banks in the U.S., providing more than 9 million customers with a full range of retail, small business and commercial banking products and services at over 1,200 locations throughout the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Metro D.C., the Carolinas and Florida.
According to TD Bank’s philosophy, “We live and work where our customers do, and for us, community means much more than sharing a zip code. It’s lending a helping hand and donating our time to local causes, and we’re happy to do it.” “Every child deserves an equal opportunity to learn and grow,” said Michael Snyder, TD Bank Vice President, U.S. Field Marketing Strategy, Pennsylvania. “FLITE helps ensure that all students in area schools have the academic tools and support they need to succeed, especially those who face financial and other barriers to their educational success. Our community came together to help fund programs that allow these students to meet their academic expectations every day.”
